Ferrari partners with blockchain firm Velas Network

Italian luxury car maker Ferrari has signed a partnership deal with blockchain start-up Velas Network.

The announcement was officially made on Monday by Ferrari. The two firms signed a multi-year agreement that will see Velas issue exclusive digital content for the scuderia fans.

Velas will also be the main sponsor for Ferrari Esports Series, the online series competing in the F1 Esports Series, the official digital championship including all teams participating in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship.

General Manager and Team Principal of Scuderia Ferrari, Mattia Binotto said:

Velas Network has it’s headquarters in Switzerland. The start-up is a well known global player in the blockchain and NFT sector, Velas has distinguished itself through the performance and innovation of its services and its technological leadership, characteristics that unite it with the Maranello team.
